Oasis of the Seas or better knows as progect Genesis is the cruise ship, which is now building and will take the first place as largest cruise ship of the world. The beautiful cruise ship is now in process of building in Aker Yards in Turku, Finland and will be lounched in December 2009. Do you want to read more… The cruise ship Oasis of the Seas is project of Caribbean Cruises, which is now in process of building and will be launched in December 2009. This is the ship called project Genesis and will make the company Caribbean Cruises owning 2 of the largest cruise ships of the world. The ship Oasis of the Seas is large and spaceful and will have enough space for 5,400 passengers, which is absolute record in ship-building till this moment. The length of Oasis of the Seas will be 360.00 meters and the beam will be 47.00 meters. The measurements of the cruise ship are really large, which are giving a deadweight of 220,000 metric tons. The main engines of the ship will be Wartsila V12 with full power of 2×17,500 horse powers, which is enought for the cruise ship to realize a maximum speed of 21.2 knots, while the crusiing speed will be 20.4 knots. Together with the main engine also the generators Asea Brown Boveri Azipod, will create power of 3×20 MW, which will be enough for the whole entertainment and other equippment on board of Oasis of the Seas. The ship Oasis of the Seas is really beautiful and spaceful, which will gives nice and beautiful cruise for every guest on board.
