European regulations state that employers must now provide constant access to drinking water for their staff and as such, water coolers have become a constant sight in offices around the nation, but many people don't know that they can be more than necessary furniture and can provide one of those finishing touches for the office, making it seem both more professional and more homely for your staff.

Purchasing water coolers emblazoned with your company branding can be the ideal way to really make your office feel – and look – the part. Business logos placed over the office, and especially on items such as water coolers which won't typically have your branding on them can greatly enhance the corporate image of your office, making your employees feel like they are really part of something and giving a positive impression to any visitors. This can be of particular benefit if your workplace regularly conducts meetings with prospective clients as a strong corporate image in the office can aid with building a first impression of professionalism and success in the mind of these potential customers.

Branding your workplace's water cooler isn't the be-all and end-all of instilling a corporate image in your office, but it can be a very nice finishing touch. Though having your businesses logo over absolutely everything in the workplace can be a little overbearing and may well be going too far, having it on a few select items other than the doorway is a good idea. Posters or prints on selected walls, a smattering of business-related products on desks and a couple of other branded items around the office will often be more than enough to give the workplace a professional image, but still not making it overbearing so that employees can work there without feeling that it is oppressive.

Often available for less than you may be expecting, acquiring a water cooler with your corporate logo is a simple enough process, often requiring little more than an email with a high-resolution copy of the artwork you wish to be implemented. Though not the most essential aspect of instilling a corporate image in your workplace, it can be an excellent finishing touch and as this option rarely costs very much on top of the water dispenser, it is a worthwhile investment.

Since most of us will need to install water coolers in our workplaces anyway due to the EU regulations, spending that little bit extra for some branding can be worth it, for both your employees and any visiting clients.
